With about 1,200 poems produced during the past 30 years Justin's poetry has evolved and taken shape in various forms. Recently he has focused on the sonnet form, but free verse and other forms have also featured.

Inspired by poets such as Shakespeare, Milton, Keats, Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Yeats and Homer, Justin especially admires the work of Larkin and Hughes from the modern era.
